How We Decided You’re People Page 3
September 14th, 2016Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale — tale of a fateful trip! Kit begins the story of the council that decided what to do about the newcomers on Page 3 of How We Decided You’re People.
Mittie Paul gives us an Art Shift! to let us know that it’s flashback time. And we also have chibi heads for the caption boxes! So cute! I’m going to ask her to do more of these. She’s really good at them.
Kit said that council almost decided that the newcomers were bears. Behold the Sailing Bears of Japethe when you vote for Snow by Night on Top Web Comics! Go now! They’re adorable. Thanks, Mittie!
Happy Easter
April 5th, 2015Hi everyone. No update today. It’s Easter. We’ll be back on Wednesday. My apologies for not including the heads up on Friday. If you need a little something to tide you over, head over to our Kickstarter. Paws is playing out his search for Snow by Night in the updates. Only 4 days left in the campaign. We’re most of the way there. Just a little push and we’ll make it. We could use your help.
Engagement on Vineyard Hill Page 10
December 9th, 2014Jacqueline plays a deadly game of cat-and-mouse on page 10 of Engagement on Vineyard Hill. I’m awe-struck by that horse Naty drew in the first panel. It takes my breath away. Kudos, Naty! To see what befalls the chimera next week, please vote for Snow by Night on Top Web Comics.
The Site Has Returned!
August 24th, 2014Confetti time! At long last, the site is back up and running. I can hardly believe we were out of commission for that long, but the keyboard indents left on my face from key smashing prove that it wasn’t a mere nightmare.
To make up for lost time, we’ll be posting an update EVERY day this week! Tune in for a new page of comic goodness on Monday! (Our updates happen around 11pm-1am the night before an ‘update day’.)
Chapter 9 Page 4
July 29th, 2014Ald receives a command that he can’t refuse on Chapter 9 Page 4, as Vivienne sides with Jassart. Don’t think that this will be the end of it for Ald. He’s a cagey veteran. He’s got other plans. To see who’s the subject of the next scene, please vote for Snow by Night on Top Web Comics.
We added a couple of new features to the website that I wanted to draw attention to. The first is a shiny new FAQ on the About page. I’ve added in some questions that I remember getting a lot. If you have other questions that you think I should include, please let me know.
Below the FAQ is my Bibliography. I read a lot of source material when preparing the comic. I thought you might be interested in some of the books I’ve used to inspire me and the artists. There are one or two books on the list.
Heading over to the Links page, we’ve added two new sections of links. The first is Colonial Resources. I added some of the links to pages dealing with colonial America, especially colonial French Canada. The second is Native American Resources, which has links to a variety of useful pages dealing with Native Americans. I’ll be adding more links to both of these as I continue to research and write the story.
Chapter 7 Page 15
August 27th, 2013Apparently all he had to say was please. Snow-by-Night makes her appearance on Chapter 7 Page 15. To see a preview of the next page, please vote for Snow by Night on Top Web Comics.
The Snow by Night Store got a make-over this week. And it really needed one too. Diane and I spruced it up with new graphics and more information. We also added the Spirits of the Seasons prints by Julie Wright and Giavere the Starkindler by Naty Baaklini. You can now get all these wonderful prints through the store.
Next item on the agenda, make digital downloads of the chapters…
Winter Fantasy Page 3
June 9th, 2013Blaise and Snow-by-Night emerge from the Harp & Trumpet and carry their song onto Iniquity Row on Page 3 of Winter Fantasy. To see where the two end up next, vote for Snow by Night on Top Web Comics.
Brittany and I will be attending Anime Mid-Altantic this weekend. Come by and say hello if you are attending.
Almanac – Claude Amaury
March 28th, 2013Today’s Almanac update is Claude Amaury, Bertrande’s journeyman. He can now be found under Merchants in the Almanac and in the Cast directory. Also, as you can see, we now have a fancy graphic for when we upload a new almanac entry. If you click on it, it will take you to the permanent home of the entry in the Almanac.
Only two more days to vote in the semi-finals of the Art Contest. I’m so impressed with all four entries. Vote today for your favorite.
Lastly, this Monday is Easter Monday, which is a holiday for me. We won’t be uploading a new page on Monday. Instead, I have a beautiful piece of fan art done by Will Friday as a way to kick off the final round of the Art Contest.
