Chapter 18 Scene 2 Next Week!

December 14th, 2018

Hello everyone!

God have mercy, it’s been a wild and woolly month. Everyone’s been sick! My wife had bronchitis followed by pneumonia so bad she was in the hospital. No sooner did she get out then my daughter got the flu that blossomed into mild pneumonia. Once we stated getting that under control my wife got a sinus infection that laid her out.

But everyone’s better now. I think. Knock on wood. Cross your fingers.

Scene 2, which is 4 pages long, is getting prepped now. Steph is coloring the last two pages. My goal is to have them out next week right before the holidays (or after if you celebrate Chanukah).

Till then, have a Holly Jolly time!

Enduring Earth Page 7

March 5th, 2018

Enduring Earth Page 7

The years pass, the seasons come and go, and Sings-to-Moon watches and waits. Artifacts like the firebird’s mask don’t stay hidden forever. They have a way of being found.

On our next page, we meet another piece of the puzzle. Vote for Snow by Night on Top Web Comics to see who or what that is!

This weekend, I’m heading to Wisconsin for GaryCon! I’m going to be DMing the premiere of my Adventurers’ League event DDAL07-14 “The Fathomless Pits of Ill Intent.” Time to roll some dice and tell great stories! Come join me if you’re in the area or heading to the con.

Steph and I are guests at Ring of Fire convention in Virginia Beach on March 23-25. We’re going to be hosting panels, signing autographs, and selling books! There’s even some D&D. I might slip over and try to squeeze in some games.

The Lake Page 4

September 6th, 2017

The Lake Page 4

Snow remembers the figure floating in the water. Do you? If not, read about him starting here. He certainly remembers Snow.  To see a face that screams “J’accuse…!”, please vote for Snow by Night on Top Web Comics!

I’m also pleased to announce that the Mythmakers Team has launching a Patreon page! I’ve been putting this together over the summer and we have some treats for everyone in there. Join today and you’ll be able to see the entirety of Chapter 16 take shape as Julie is working on the thumbnails now. Come help us make a wonderful story and get lots of behind the scenes access!

Please give some safe thoughts for Amanda, our artist. She lives in south Florida which is being targeted by Hurricane “Vengeance of a Greek God” Irma. We’re hoping it doesn’t affect the posting schedule, but if she loses power for a month or the entire southern half of Florida is blown away….

Chapter 14 Page 22

January 16th, 2017

Chapter 14 Page 22

Guess who’s got two thumbs and all his organs? This guy! If you’ve been following on social media, then you know recent events with me. If not, here’s the summary. What the doctors thought was a cancerous tumor was actually a high-grade, severe dysplasia (I think I have all the words right). It’s the last step cells make before they become cancerous. This one was caused by a gallstone wedged into my bile duct that was causing chronic inflammation. The surgery was necessary to remove it. When they pulled it out, they got a positive margin and when they tested the removed tissue, it was non-cancerous.

So right now, the doctors don’t believe I have cancer. Instead, I was just about to have cancer. So instead of Stage 1, I was Stage… 0.5? For the immediate future, that means I don’t have to have a Whipple procedure and can keep all my organs (Hurray!). The tumor is off for a full pathology. If the tumor has cancerous cells, then I’m doing chemo. If that comes back as clear, I will not need chemo. They are going to want to scan me for a couple years to make sure this doesn’t come back.

This is better news than the best case scenario I could have hoped for. I’m back home now and happy to be here. This also means that I can start working on the next chapter. Thank you for all the love and support! It really means a lot to me. I continue to be one of the luckiest people I know.

This means the hiatus is over. I’ll be postingit’s Map Time when you vote for Snow by Night on Top Web Comics.
