Chapter 6 Page 14

Almanac Reference: Confectionery; Page Reference: Bees

Questing is delicious! At least Blaise thinks so in Chapter 6 Page 14. Next week, we are off to the opera. To see a preview of the opera, vote for Snow by Night on Top Web Comics.

Diane has been populating the site with chibis. We have a new chibi  as our permanent link to the TWC voting gateway for Snow by Night. We also have icons for beginning the tale and finding a page. We went with the chibis to create an art break between the characters in the novel and our graphic designs for the web page.

Our final round in the Art Contest is in full swing and the voting is so close. Make your voice heard today (and everyday) until Saturday. Also, I have sent emails to all the contestants thanking them for their entry and following up on the prizes. If you did not receive an email from me, please let me know.

    Aw shucks!

I really like your comics! I’ve started reading this last year, and I love Blaise!

Oh dear. Has the ribbon that was on the box disappeared by the last row of panels? Does it, too, go on an adventure fighting crime?

funny how the bees not only got referenced here, also one chapter after they have been mentioned the first time he said something about “you catch a fly with honey” — and considering how he just loves to do puns…

Could someone link to the page with the bees that this one references to?

    Alice

Aw, how sweet. Om nom nom.

    ExPaladin

Oh. Well. Back to candy shop. :P

Haha, that’s because you’re a lucky sort of quester, Blaise. And I honestly can’t tell if this is him flirting or not, considering that he’s just naive enough to believe that buying a box of candy counts as helping a quest. More likely than either possibility is that he’s just making an excuse for buying candy.

I like the little callback with the bees. That’s a callback to what, 114 pages ago? Either way, it’s a nice touch.
