Chapter 1 Page 27

May 3rd, 2011

Page 27 is up. Our band of rogues gets together to compare notes, and they make an astute guess at the mysterious thief’s motives.

We got a shout-out from the SEQLab in their Podcast #163. SEQALab is a podcast by the students, faculty, and staff of the Savannah College of Art and Design. And I’ve uploaded more photos from the SCAD sidewalk festival. Take a look on our Facebook page.

Oh, new incentive panel is up. Please vote for Snow by Night on Top Web Comics.

I have only recently started to read webcomics although I have read comic books of all types for over 40 years. I do enjoy your ‘Snow by Night’. I like the mix of humor and drama and reminds me of Fritz Liber’s works as well as the Theives World series. The artwork is fair and the coloring is good. The storyline and plotting is very good and interesting. I hope you will continue this series.

Thank you for the comment, Horosha. You are dead on with Fritz Leiber. His works are some of my favorite urban fantasy, and Lankhmar heavily influenced Sherbourg’s underworld.

So the thief is looking for what? A good Valentine’s Day gift for their boyfriend or girlfriend?

For the answer to that question, you’ll have to wait until Chapter 2, which is going to be unbelievable fun. I just got done paneling the entire chapter. I can’t wait till we start doing these twice a week.

I can’t wait either! There’s only like one more page! EEEPPPPP!!!!! :) Yes, i just a little crazy, but aren’t we all?

We’ve got a small interlude before we begin the next chapter. A guest artist has illustrated a vignette for me. It’s 7 pages long and fits in between Chapters 1 and 2. The art is absolutely amazing. And I hope you enjoy the story too. Vignettes have bearing on the central storyline, but allow me to explore stories and characters that I don’t fit into the main narrative.
