Almanac – Morante
August 9th, 2012This week’s Almanac entry is Morante. This rival nation to Saronne has been mentioned several times in the course of the comic, most recently in Ald’s tale. So I figured it was time to reveal a little bit of information about the country.
GenCon is next week. I’ll be running D&D Next adventures most of the time, showing people the new system for my favorite RPG. We’ll be running interested players through adventures set in Menzoberranzan, which just happens to be the city I wrote a book about. Amazon has updated their records for Menzoberranzan: City of Intrigue to list me as one of the authors.
/modesty It’ll be more worthwhile than usual. Hope I get a chance to say hi, and give you an in-person “thank you” for SbN!
Oh cool, I’ll be working Gen Con. I’ll find some time to run over; will you have a booth too, or “only” be doing demos?
I’ll be judging the demo adventure and helping people make adventures. I’m also there all day. From 10 a.m. till 7 in the evening. We’re in the large block of rooms across from the main entrance into the Dealers Hall. I don’t know when I’m going to be able to escape to the dealers room, but I want to come see Geek Chic’s booth.
