I have been meaning to comment on this for a while now. Unfortunately programming homework has distracted me these past couple of weeks. I REALLY like how you created your own currency system. Most web comics like this use the generic moniker of “gold” which is quite boring in my opinion. Kudos to you Eric :)
Thank you, Andrew. I’ve done a lot of RPG work in the past so I have a natural inclination to start world building when I write. What coins are they using? What are the laws like? What about the architecture? Who rules the city? What sort of trade goes on? What do the people eat? These questions and many more are floating in my head as I started writing the tale of Jassart and Blaise. It takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work. I was fleshing out the background information for nearly a year before we posted the first page. Since I had all this material, I wanted to share it with the readers who were interested. And so the Almanac was created.
