Almanac Reference: Arrête

Oh man. We’re living up to our motto again with “That took longer than I thought.” Network Solutions was being problematic and WordPress wasn’t responding. However, we’ve got it fixed (I think) and we’re back in business. More importantly, we have a new page! Yes, we’re back from our holiday break with Chapter 5 Page 24. This is our last page before our holiday break. There is an almanac entry this Friday (I’m thinking about discussing gunpowder). Starting next week, we will have holiday sketches up on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. So stop by and see what Naty, Brittany, and Sunny have put together. It’s delightfully festive. Pages resume on January 7!

Riddle Week was a lot of fun for us. I enjoy making up these brain teasers and it gives an outlet for my poetic streak. In case you didn’t see the answers on Top Web Comic, here they are. The answer to Monday’s riddle is a caterpillar but we would accept a butterfly. The answer to Tuesday’ s riddle is a ring. The answer to Wednesday’s riddle is a frog. This one stumped a lot of people because of the line “I die every night.” To which I answer, frogs croak in the evening. Ha! puns! The answer to Thursday’s riddle was a ball. And finally, the answer to Friday’s riddle is skin. Thanks for playing with us!

I crawl upon my belly.

I eat my fill, sleep it off
