Well, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbynight.com\/almanac\/cuisine.php#Pemmican\">pemmican<\/a> is a food. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.snowbynight.com\/almanac\/cuisine.php#Biscuits\">biscuits<\/a> of the 18th century are a food-like object. They are not to be confused with the biscuits of the American South. Those are savory quick breads and have more in common with the scones of the British Islands.<\/p>\n<p>On a different note, I&#8217;m planning on doing a Kickstarter for printing Volume 2 later this fall.
