Mathurin and Ald confront the Phoenix Men. To see how well this goes, please <a href=\"http:\/\/topwebcomics.com\/vote\/11790\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">vote for Snow by Night<\/a> on Top Web Comic.<\/p>\n<p>As you may have heard, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.otakon.com\" target=\"_blank\">Otakon<\/a> topped 32,000 attendees this year. That&#8217;s a lot of anime fans in one place. The costumes were fantastic. Homestuck has a lot of fans. I would estimate that 5% of the attendess were dressed as trolls from Homestuck. This is easier a testament to the popularity of the webcomic or the ease of creating a Homestuck troll costume. It&#8217;s probably a mixture. Either way, I&#8217;m glad to see a webcomic getting so much love and attention.<\/p>\n<p>Brittany and I met a lot of great artists at the show. There was the usual suspects, including Shazzbaa of <a href=\"http:\/\/runewriters.com\" target=\"_blank\">Runewriters<\/a> and Dirk Tiede of Paradigm Shift, and I got to see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emcmanness.daportfolio.com\" target=\"_blank\">Erin McManness<\/a> who did all our prints. I also met Savannah and Andrew of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amyachronicles.com\" target=\"_blank\">Amya<\/a> and Cari of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.storyofthedoor.com\" target=\"_blank\">Tiolet Genie<\/a>. One of my personal heroes, Lora Innes of <a href=\"http:\/\/thedreamercomic.com\" target=\"_blank\">The Dreamer<\/a> was there as well.
