The discussion of manitou continues in this week’s Almanac with Wakes-with-a-Roar. This mighty bear spirit is a fierce protector. Unfortunately, she is not a match for the firebird at its place of power.

I finished up the script for Chapter 11 today. Whew, this was a rough one. I’m really late with it, and I think Julie might be about to crown me. But in Chapter 11 we pick up Blaise’s story among the Liranequois. Or will it be the Liranequois’ story that Blaise has wandered into. Either way, it’s a different culture with a lot of new characters. I wanted to make sure I did the research to do it properly.
