Snow by Night

With the start of Chapter 2 on Wednesday, I’m bringing the almanac back to Sherbourg to discuss the Hostelers’ Guild. This guild covers the auberges (fancy inns), the hostels (not so fancy boarding houses), barbers, dentists, physicians, and brothels. That last one caused quite a stir. Read about it in this week’s almanac entry.
